There is nothing wrong with Me. There must be something wrong with the Universe.
I’m having Frankenstein emotions…
It’s not super detailed but I just wanted to do something quickly- he, and the play, was brilliant and the lighting was amazing, so I wanted to paint that somehow :)
done with my wacom in cs5
You’ll love it!!
I’m loving these tidbits. I’m seeing it the other way ‘round on the 28th so it’s cool to glimpse at what I’m missing with Benny as the Creature.
A fortnight ago I was lucky enough to see both versions of Frankenstein as well as the behind-the-scenes material; here’s a little bit of what I discovered.
With all the people seeing the Fathom Encore screening of Frankenstein, I thought I’d bring back my friend Hanley’s post about what went on behind the scenes of this INCREDIBLE PRODUCTION. Seriously worth a read! Thanks for sharing this stuff, H!
Day one, Benedict as the Monster and Miller as Frankenstein, was astounding. Benedict was breathtaking.

THANKS TO WILL FOR THE INFO!
Fandango now has showtimes for US showings!
Original casting with Benedict as the monster and Johnny Lee Miller as Victor Frankenstein

Will asked and I thought I should post it here too, because I’m sure some of you are interested.
Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch and the NEW CBS Sherlock star, Johnny Lee Miller co-starred in an acclaimed production of Frankenstein on the National Theater in England last march. NT has allowed for the production to enter a season of repeat airings WORLDWIDE beginning in JUNE.
Local listings will be posted when show times go up here: http://dft.ba/-FR_Venues_USA
The US NTLive participating theaters only have events scheduled through the end of March, so info will be released slowly and with short notice, probably.
The show is recommended for ages 15+ (for nudity, violence, disturbing/dark themes, general macabre morbidity and awesomeness only appropriate for older audiences) and will be 2 hours long with no intermission.
More Info, a trailer, and a sign up for the email notifications: http://dft.ba/-FR_Natlthtre_moreinfo
I’ll post when more info is available! :)
